This is in line with the approval of a reduction in height for the same amount for beech (T5) which is a very similar tree and next to T8 (LCS/26/0564/TPO).Beech (T11) - Reduce overhanging branches growing towards the house in order to provide 2 metres of clearance. This will reduce the risk of limb failure especially as these overhang a residential garden that is used by a young family. This was previously granted in LCS/18/1899/TPO, but the application has lapsed.
