T1 Ash, cut to ground, tree is an old lapsed Pollard, it is in an advanced state of decay and the upper crown has begun to collapse, (hung-up limb in top of tree). Tree has been sounded at the base and this reveals two significant pockets of decay on the North side, unable to survey the South side due to dense undergrowth. The tree is on the edge of a busy public car park and may be viewed from the Oakfield site on the North boundary toward the Eastern end.
