T1 Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus)Proposed Works: Reduce the crown back to the previous historic reduction points at approximately 15m, maintaining the established framework. Sever and strip ivy from the stem up to 2m to allow inspection of the main forks and stem structure. Chip and remove all arisings and timber from site.Justification: The crown has produced regrowth beyond the historic reduction points. Returning the tree to these established points maintains its size and prevents excessive lateral spread. Ivy removal is required to allow proper inspection of the stem and forks, as current ivy cover prevents assessment of structural condition. Works are intended to maintain the trees health, structure, and amenity value.T2 Pine (Pinus sp.) Proposed Works: Remove deadwood throughout the crown in accordance with BS3998 to address ongoing deadwood fall into the car park. Chip and remove all arisings from site.Justification: Deadwood is actively shedding into the adjacent car park, posing a risk to vehicles and site users. Deadwood removal is a minimal-impact safety measure that does not alter the tree?s form or amenity value.T3 Holly (Ilex aquifolium) Proposed Works: Sever and strip ivy from the stem up to 2m. Crown lift to provide approximately 2m clearance from the boundary wall. Chip and remove all arisings from site.Justification:Ivy removal is required to allow inspection of the stem and lower crown. Crown lifting prevents abrasion against the boundary wall and maintains safe access. Works are minor, proportionate, and will not adversely affect the trees health or appearance.T4 Holly (Ilex aquifolium)Proposed Works: Sectionally fell the tree to as close to ground level as reasonably practicable. Chip and remove all arisings and timber from site.Justification: The tree has limited amenity value and is not well-suited to its location.
