Ash tree in Feversham Fields ENGIE development. Tree has had toadstools on trunk each autumn. Had it inspected by Bilsdale Tree Services this last spring - said needed photo to identify funghi so took pictures this September. Infection identified as Pholiota Squarrosa - attacks stem of tree and roots, causes decomposition. Many dead branches. Regretably tree needs felling. Ash tree to be replaced by a species like Silver Birch/Acer Campestre and in position agreed with Woodland Officer plus additional fruit trees.
