Proposal
Birch (T1) - Remove entire tree, to provide a clear CCTV view of Mill Road bridge for flood risk management purpose.N.B. This application is made on behalf of Environment Agency. The Environment Agency has a CCTV installed on a lamppost (ref: L5LAT) next to a bus stop on Hight Street, Alconbury, Huntingdonshire (What3words: ///earlobes.manages.mailers), monitoring the Mill Road Bridge. The concerned tree (T1) is starting to obstruct the view of the CCTV and our ability to monitor that area for flood risk management purpose. Even after we tried to trim the tree, the view of our CCTV is still partially blocked by it. In addition, as the tree grows larger, the bank as a flood risk asset and the maintenance grass cuts for it will also be affected. The tree owner, Alconbury Parish Council, has agreed to this tree removal.
