Proposal

The proposal is based on the refurbishment of the communal entrance ways to each of the 7 blocks within the Hamilton Close estate. Works include replacing the existing timber cladding and single glazed timber framed windows, with aluminium framed double glazed units and aluminium cladding. The existing felt covered flat roofs of the communal blocks are to be replaced with a liquid applied system, including renewing and reconnecting the uPVC rainwater goods with the existing rainwater goods to the main building. External works will be undertaken to the entrance walkways, where repairs are necessary. The works include internal redecoration, including floor replacements and decoration of walls and ceilings. To block c within this application, the block comprises timber framed passageway structures. These are to be replaced with a like-for-like timber structure, including felt roof covering as existing.
