Proposal
T1 - Silver Birch:- Lowest North West primary branch growing towards No.13: Shorten back by 1.5 metres. Diameter cut size of 2-3inches.Reasons: To increase the light in this area, without affecting the vigour of the tree.- 2 specified vertical North East leading stems (photo provided): Shorten back by 3 metres (3-4 inch diameter cut size). The areas to be pruned are the both overhanging the road, and zebra crossing. Reasons: The two areas observed have higher lever arms than other areas of the crown. Movement of the stems in light winds indicate a requirement for reducing the weight and sail effect. They overhang the road and zebra crossing, and so there is a higher risk to the public.
