T4-London Plane: Raise the crown to 5.2m over the highway and 4m over the lawned garden. Undertake a lateral branch reduction of no more than 2m from the tips inwards on the lowest primary branch growing in an Easterly direction (as per attached photo). Ensuring that all cuts are brought back to via growth points and that no pruning wound is to exceed 50mm in diameter. The reason for works is as follows. The branch main primary branch in question is a long heavily end weighted branch. Which has subsequently grown to fall outside of the 'general' coverage of the crown and as such has left itself open to unnecessary wind loading at the main branch junction. By carrying out the above work the overall weight of the branch is to be reduced as well as its sail area, which will directly reduce the risk of future catastrophic branch failure.
