Proposal
We would like to restore the windows on Rose Cottage sympathetically in keeping with being period correct. The current windows are flush casement windows but are in very poor state of repair (rotting, leaking and allowing both air and water ingress) and we wish to replace them with flush casement windows using wooden Heritage slim-fit windows. These windows are period correct in appearance. Rather than being single glazed they are double glazed with a small gap between the panes - this produces greater energy efficiency for the building without compromising on the period nature of the cottage.
