Proposal
G1 - group of trees consisting of Hornbeam, Beech, Sycamore and Lawson Cypress trees. The trees are within land of sub station at 71 Wolsey Road and overhang the garden and property of 75 Wolsey Road. Proposed works are to reduce height and spread of all trees back to previous pruning points to give clearance from adjacent property and sub station, pruning back to suitable growth points. Reduce over mature Laurel trees to reinstate hedge form.T1 Sycamore tree to rear of sub station. Tree has a height of approximately 17 metres and spread of approximately 9 metres. Proposed works are to reduce to previous pruning points, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 14 metres and spread of approximately 5 metres. These works are being carried out to maintain previously reduced trees within sub station to contain trees which are interfering with neighbouring rooftops and property structures outside transformers and underground services within sub station and private dwelling. All trees have been reduced on a cyclical basis. Trees will be left with a natural appearance and carried out by professional arborists on behalf of UKPN.
