Proposal
I would like a single tree (a cryptomeria) to be cut down and the stump removed. About three years ago I had some work done on the tree on the advice of my gardener. The tree had many dead branches and I had these cut off. However, the tree has not recovered - there have been no new shoots appear and the remaining folliage is going brown (see photos). We think the tree may have suffered in the past when conditions were very dry and it was overcrowded by adjacent Leylandii. As you can tell from my previous applications, my garden had a lot of very overgrown trees which I have had cut down or reduced in height. This work will allow further light into the garden and facilitate plans toplant a variety of wild-life friendly (small) trees and also to install a wildlife pond.
