Proposal
T1 Oak tree, protected by TPO 31/68 Scope of Works The tree is approximately 15 meters in height with a crown spread of 9 meters, trunk girth is 600mm at 1.5 meters above ground. I feel the tree is becoming over mature for its location and is suppressing the surrounding properties. I advise a sympathetic reduction and removal of the epicormic growth up to crown break to help contain the tree and increase the trees amenity to the area. Method of Works The tree will be accessed using rope and harness. Aerial pruning techniques in accordance with BS3998 will be used to reduce the canopy. The leading limbs will be reduced by up to 2 meters from the branch tips back to suitable growth points, the lateral limbs will be reduced by up to 2 meters to balance the remaining canopy. All major dead wood will be removed. The epicormic growth will be removed to where it originates up to the crown break or approximately 9 meters from ground level.
