Proposal

Works to trees in A Conservation Area:Tree ID 6338 A Silver Birch tree approximately 10m in height, situated in the front garden on the right-hand side close to the house. The tree is causing movement to the retaining wall. Due to the ongoing movement of the retaining wall and the trees locations, the most effective solution is to remove. a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of either the front or rear garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration: Prunus Sargentii (flowering Cherry - single pink flowers March and April), Crataegus x prunifolia (Flagpole Cherry) Clerodendrum trichotomum (Fastigiata). The new tree planted during the October 2025 and March 2026 planting season with a stem girth of between 10-12cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 2m.
