T1 Walnut, tree has recently lost a large branch on the West side of the crown and has suffered several branch failures in recent years. The tree has a very broad crown which I am proposing to reduce in spread along with some crown thinning,(30-40% in more congested areas) to lessen loading on the extended lateral limbs and branches. Crown lift to 4m, prune radial spread by 2.5-3.5m to secondary growth, crown spread currently is as follows; 7m to North, 10m to East, 9m to South and 8m to West.
