T1 - Bay - Fell and grind stump - due to recent failure of limbs The Bay tree is a multi stem tree made up of over 10 stems situated in the middle of the Anglers pub garden. It has targets around 360'' of the tree with customer seating within the zone of failure. As you know it had 2 stems fail on Friday which have now been removed and made safe however the pub is concerned of further failure. The Bay is in visible decline with low vigour throughout the crown as shown in the attached photos, there is a lot of basal growth around the base of the tree along with the metal fence making inspection hard however a number of stems have signs of decay at the base as shown in the photos. With the fact of 2 stems already failing and making the neighbouring stems a higher risk of failure.
