T1 Black Walnut - Reduce all aspects of the crown by approx. 4-5m to create a tight and tidy shape. - Remove dead wood and crossing branches. Note: The mature Black Walnut is approx. 18-22m tall and 12-16m wide. After the works are completed the tree will be approx. 16-18m tall and 10-14m wide. All pruning cuts will adhere to BS 3998:2010. The reason for the tree pruning is due to how severely the tree overhangs the surrounding property and roofs. This tree is very productive in producing large walnuts some in excess of 150g which have caused damage to surrounding properties. The above works are as part of general maintenance to manage the tree in a healthy condition but at a slightly smaller size.
