Proposal

Tree preservation order RE731 Sketch - T1 (Council plans T2) Cedar Tree - There are branches overhanging the Garage and the tree needs to be made safe. Crown reduction. Reducing the spread of the tree by up to 2 metres of limbs to West and remove major deadwood greater than 20mm diameter. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth. Height pre 25m post 25m Crown spread pre 15m post 13m Sketch - T2 (Council plans T9) ? Lime - There is a decay cavity in tree. This tree is extremely close to the house. It was approved for a crown reduction in 2014 and since then has grown significantly and is extremely tall. Trees and plants have died around the tree due to lack of light as it shades a considerable part of the garden, and it needs maintaining for safety reasons. It was noted in 2014 application by the council that the works would not result in any significant loss of visual amenity. Light will enable this area to be landscaped properly and introduce tree and plant diversity and attract wildlife. Crown reduce to the previous crown reduction points removing approximately 4 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth and shall not exceed beyond the previous crown reduction points. Height pre 26m post 22m, crown spread pre 14m post 10m Worked with Dave Ford Tree Care on this application
