Proposal
Front garden Red - two yew trees which have been poorly maintained, likely by the phone line company clearing the line. We want to crown lift these above the drive, pavement and highway to 2.5m and 5.2m respectively. Green - a former conifer hedge which is now overgrown and half consisting of Elder. Permission sought to remove. Rear garden Red - a conifer in the corner of the garden next to a mature acer, permission sought to remove the conifer to allow the Acer to grow in to the space, however initially we will reduce the conifer to 12ft for the first 18 months to maintain privacy between the neighbours while the Acer starts to fill the gap. Blue - large Yew ball. This yew dominates the garden but has had some previous poor work carried out. We wish to maintain the yew but in a nicer shape which is not dominating the surrounding trees and shrubs. Permission sought for a 3 metre all round reduction. Green - this overgrown portion of the garden has a mature beech and mature conifers with a mix of spindly underperforming conifers and Holly's competing for the remaining space. Permission sought to remove all the spindly conifers and elders to enable the healthy Holly stock to perform well below the beech and cypress.
