Proposal

The tree is the large Cedrus atlantica opposite number 20 Rectory Gardens in Wollaton West (labelled 1). It has some dieback in the crown, tear out wounds and one hanging branch. We would like to carry out a hazard prune to remove the deadwood and hanging branch to reduce the chance of deadwood falling and causing injury or damage to property. We would also like to tidy up the tear out wound stubs that remain to reduce the surface area of the wounds and reduce the chance of fungal proliferation through the wound site causing internal decay. The tree belongs to Nottingham City Council as it is part of the adopted highway, who I am applying on behalf of.
