Proposal

Remove to the ground one horse chestnut treeReason for the removalOur arborist is concerned as to the safety of the tree, it has a large hole in the trunk, last year large branches fell down onto the footpath which could have caused danger to people walking by. The leaves turn brown and drop early this is caused by Horse Chestnut Leaf Miner. The larvae of the moth Cameraria ohridella burrows within the leaf of the tree and cause it to brown and shrivel early in the year. There have been no conkers on the tree for the past six years.Due to the many trees in our garden we are unable to separate the deceased horse chestnut leaves from the healthy leaves from the other trees.
