Recommend is 30% reduction in order to avoid future failures of limbs in high winds, see photo P2. T3 Chestnut, this tree has been previously pollarded which has encouraged extended reaction growth growing above the old cuts. Recommend is a re-pollard every 3-4 years to retain the tree for as long as possible, see photo P3.
