Informative B: the landowner has a duty to plant another tree of an appropriate size and species when a tree is removed in a conservation area because it is dead or presents an immediate risk of serious harm. Ref. Tree Preservation Orders and trees in conservation areas, guidance, para 121. Informative C: please confirm to the tree officer before autumn 2026, the replacement trees which will be planted under duty to replace: species, planting size, location on the map, and who will be responsible for maintaining the new trees, including watering.Informative D: in addition to retaining standing stems for habitat retention which is hugely appreciated, please also create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
