There now appears to be a crack forming between the two remaining limbs which overhang the footpath. Reduce limbs to below union. Remaining 0.5m of the stem should be retained to prevent a large pruning wound close to the main union bowl. LCC OFFICER NOTE: T1497: Crown reduce by up to 2 metres in height, and up to 1.5 metres at west aspect. Due to history of union failure and potential exposure over high confluence area. Also crown reduce G1 by up to 1.5 metres in height (2x trees adjacent to T1497, detailed in Officer Report and on Public Access) T1973 St George's Field Chestnut (CA No 39): FellT1976 Outside Botany House Maple (CA No 39): FellT511 28 Springfield Mount Ash (CA No 39): Fell and replace.
