T2 Lime - Crown reduction to control the size and shape of the tree due to its rapid growth - The reduction in height will probably be about 4-5 meters. This would leave about half a meter of branches above the main stem/trunk. To allow more light into both the garden and house as when in bloom it casts a large shadow. We have spoken to a tree surgeon and he has suggested pollarding the tree. We would like the work to be carried out as soon as possible before it starts to leaf.
