Proposal

Front T1 False Acacia x 1 (Robinia pseudoacacia) This 12m mature Robinia has severe die back in the crown. The top 3m are stone dead with large cracks in the bark exposing decaying heartwood. There are fungal fruiting bodies around the base, indicating root decay. There tree leans towards the house but is alongside the public footpath. Any failure would cause significant damage. Suggested work: - fell to ground level using advanced rigging techniques - poison stump to prevent the root system sending up suckers Client happy to replant significant tree (5m with 12-14cm girth). Justification : Tree is in severe decline, it is half dead, it has a lean, mushrooms at the base, and all of that is a large risk to the public. Front T2 Mulberry x 1 This 8m mature mulberry tree has grown too large for the client to be able to pick the fruit. It is also encroaching upon the property. Suggested work:- crown reduction reframe- reduce the height 3m - reduce the lateral growth 1-2m to create umbrella shape Recommend mulberry pruned January - March 2027 The justification is the tree is too big, it has been pruned previously and now needs pruning again. Its close to the house and encroaches on the footpath, a reduction will make the tree smaller.
