Proposal
5 Day Notice - T1 Ash - Proposed work: Fell to ground level. Reason: The crown of the tree is approximately 25% dead There are a number of Ganoderma fungal brackets around the base of the tree, and extending approximately 1 metre up the main stem. The eastern side of the base is largely decayed, and one main buttress root on the eastern side is 100% decayed, offering no support. Roots on the western side of the tree also show signs of decay, although the extent of this has not been determined. The extent of visible decay, visible fungal brackets and low crown density indicate that decay is extensive and affecting the physiological and structural integrity of the tree. The tree adjoins the road, and the driveway of No.12b The Bank. The tree grows through 4 phone lines. In the event of failure at the base, it is highly likely that damage would be caused to a vehicle, property or person.
