Tree Preservation Order EL:03/30 - The tree in question is an oak tree. On the front garden between the houses of Ranui and Blue Cedars. The tree falls within the boundary land and ownership of Ranui. Having consulted a qualified arborist he has suggested reducing the side that overhangs Blue Cedars by approximately 6 metres so it matches the right hand side (as viewed from the road, looking towards Ranui). He suggests that the tree is currently too heavy one side and is detrimental to the overall health of the tree. We are requesting to even up one side so the tree is overall the same shape, therefore not placing any stress on a particular side of the tree. We believe this will contribute to the overall care and longevity of the tree.
