Proposal
IN GARDENS: 1 x Japanese Cherry (Cerasus serrulate) (T271) - Lift low canopy pruning the lowest pendulous branches only, to provide 3m clearance over the driveway. Reduce crown by reducing the extended, extraneous aerial growth and lateral branches to the north, east and south by 1m - 1.5m, to aesthetically balance the crown. Final cuts to be no greater than 30 mm diameter and to be made at suitable pruning points, leaving furnishing growth to minimise visual impact. 1 x Smooth Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum) (T269) - Lift low canopy pruning the lowest pendulous branches using secateurs only, to provide 2.5m clearance over the footpath and driveway. Special care should be taken so as not to damage the natural form of the canopy.
