Proposal

006 Crack Willow Observations: Dead ivy covered stump. Leans towards decking. Great eco feature but root anchorage has severely deteriorated and can be moved easily just by pushing it. Recommendations: Reduce to hand rail height - up to 1.5m from ground level - to mitigate any risk. T011 Elm Observations: Small dead tree. Close to fence. Owned by local council - consent will be gained prior to works. Recommendations: Fell to ground level G013 Mixed Species Observations: Low branches. Recommendations: Crown lift low branches to 2 metres. T001 Horse Chestnut Observations: Previously heavily reduced, now has a huge amount of regrowth. Crown spreads over two adjacent gardens as well as the corner of the playground. Decay at old pollard points and cavity at 2.5 metres on stem closest to the playground. Low branches touching the shed roof. Owned by neighbour - consent will be gained prior to works. Recommendations: Remove low branches touching the shed roof. Crown Reduction by 2 metres. (Inspection at base recommended). T010 Cherry Observations: Large low limb extends over play equipment. Owned by local council - consent will be gained prior to works. Recommendations: Reduce overhanging limb back by approximately 3 metres. Crown lift to 3 metres. T012 Sycamore Observations: No significant defects. Low branches. Recommendations: Crown lift to 2.5 metres. T014 Horse Chestnut Observations: No significant defects. Minor deadwood and low branches Recommendations: Crown lift to 2.2 metres T008 Hawthorn Observations: Unmanageable hedge line either side of shelter separating the pond area from the playground. Trees are leaning over the playgrounds. Brambles are becoming prolific. Recommendations: Cut down to fence height (1.4m) to form a managed hedge.
