Proposal
English Oak (LTS.28) is located on the South side of the Canford School Golf Club and to the East of Lower Tadmore Rugby Pitch on the Western border of the woodland area requires a tree topping of the entire crown (North facing branches as shown in the photo LTS.28 (1)) to provide sufficient clearance to nearby productions and sport spectators located in the area. The photo LTS.28 (1) shows the recommended pruning line shown in red. This will also reduce prevailing wind pressure from the South East with the sail of the tree and reduce the risk of tree failure. The remaining photos display signs of decay with differing colourations in the bark (bleeding canker) surrounding the trunk on the West from 0.5m above base to 2m and East sides at 2.5m. Burrowing insects holes are present on the bark of the tree on the North side of the tree from 0.5m above base to 3m. 40% circumference of the tree base shows visible bark decay as protentional for weakness from the West side root zone.
