Proposal
The tree (T1) is a mature scots pine in the rear garden of the address. First choice from my client is for the tree to be felled to ground level. This is due to dieback in the lower canopy and further signs of thinning of foliage and dieback in the higher canopy. In addition, increasingly larger branches have broken off and landed in the garden and neighbouring garden. My client is also concerned for his children's safety whilst playing outside for this reason as the canopy of the tree overhangs the whole garden. My client would like a small fruit tree planted in replacement in approximately the same location. Failing this, a short term solution would be to remove the lowest 3-4 branches which are showing signs of dieback, and a reduction of the canopy by up to approximately 2 meters. All works permitted will be carried out to BS3998
