T1 Beech - Fell - tree was planted when the golf course was constructed. It's subsequent growth and competition for moisture now compromises the putting green to the point where the grass dies away each summer. We have tried to find somewhere else to build a new putting green but there is not a safe alternative anywhere on the course. The application is to fell this tree and plant a replacement as indicated in the photos. Also, to plant a second Beech tree elsewhere in the grounds.
