Proposal

T15 Sweet Chestnut - To crown lift the tree by removal of the branches indicated in the attached schedule. This will give reasonable clearance of the shrubs underneath the tree to allow them to develop and give reasonable clearance of the drive. Any deadwood will be removed at the same time. T5 - Sweet Chestnut - This tree has previously lost several branches and has recently lost another one, that is still haning in the tree. With this tree repeatedly loosing limbs, we would like to reduce and reshape the tree to leave a smaller more compact tree. We would propose to bring the tallest section that leans out to the left when viewing the tree, down by approximately 6 meters and then bring other lateral branches in by 2-3 meters to appropriate growth points. This works shall reduce the risks of further failure and allow the tree to remain in good health. T3 Beech - Crown lift the tree by the removal of the first lowest branch and then shorten back the 3rd limb that grows slightly out of the canopy line. Pruning of the limb should not exceed 1.5meters. This works will allow the newly laid grass below to grow and give reasonable clearance of the property. T6 - Sweet Chestnut - Remove all major dead wood and broken branches from the tree. This is to maintain safety. In addition, minor pruning over the road to give 5.2 meters clearance of the road. This is to allow safe movement of vehicles under the tree. G2 Beech - Crown lift by the removal of secondary and tertiary branches only, to a height of approximately 4 meters. This is to give reasonable clearance over the drive. see attached schedule
