Tree 6 - Sweet chestnut - Remove the stem by the pine. Cut back the other stem to approx 3m. Retain the two suckers to form a new crown. (The tree will progressively damage the pine, T7, as it grows. The stem that is dying back can be cut back to allow the lower suckers to form a new crown). Tree 16 - Strawberry tree - Prune to give a clearance of 3m over car park. (The tree doesn't have much foliage, but it is worth doing some limited pruning to encourage growth away from the car park). Tree 20 - English oak - Prune back branch tips by 2m and prune low branches to give a clearance of 4m above ground level. (Pruning may help to rebalance the crown and lift it from the car park). Tree 24 - English oak - Prune crown to give 2m clearance from structures. (The branch tips could cause damage to or be damaged by abrasion). Full details in Treecall Consulting TP/52922/SC
