Proposal
T1-Tulip - Undertake an upper crown reduction of no more than 1.2m from the top down and a lateral branch reduction of no more than 1m from the tips inwards. Ensuring that all cuts are brought back to viable growth points and that no pruning wounds exceed 60mm in diameter. T1 is a fast growing species located along the boundary seperating No. 9 & 9a. This specification will reduce the dominance towards the rear gardens of both properties and will contain the size of the tree via the removal of tertiary and secondary branches only. This work will not reduce the amenity value the tree is offering to the local treescene nor will it have a negative affect to the tree physiologically due to the limited loss in photosynthetic mass.
