T1 Poplar tree in rear garden of 27 Alton Road - to have competing stem heavily reduced to a suitable growth point as shown in the photo attached. This heavily weighted stem is leaning towards the properties and if it was to fail would cause significant damage. Reducing the stem will remove the risk as help rebalance the tree and leave a more upright stem. Poplars are prone to summer snap where they can shed large limbs which makes this tree a higher risk in summer when the gardens are in use. Lesser works: T1 Poplar in #27: reduce the limbs (shown in the submitted annotated photo) from the tips by pruning tertiary and secondary branches, limiting the cut size to no more than 50mm, pruning to a suitable growth points.
