Proposal

Three trees were identified by the owner of the neighbouring property as having roots and overhanging branches causing potential damage to his property.Following an assessment by James Dodd, Proprietor of Vic Lee, Specialist Landscape Contractors, the three trees were identified as a Field Maple, a small Yew and an Alder. The Alder was found not to be encroaching on the neighbouring property, but the Field Maple and and Yew were crossing the boundary and the latter is too close to the property and will cause problems. They are both of low amenity value in an already overcrowded area. The recommendation is to fell the Field Maple and the Yew, but to leave the Alder which is better suited to the wet conditions.
