MatureFruiting body of Ganoderma australe (Southern bracket) small but fresh bracket located to Southeast side at 30cm above ground level. Slight hollow sound when tapped to that area, with sounding hammer. Twin stemmed at ground level.Deadwood throughout canopy. Recommendations: Crown reduce by 4m all round. Height to be reduced to 18m and crown spread reduced to 11m. (Tree works to BS3998 2010) Both these trees will have a smaller compact canopy, in turn reducing the pressure towards the lower stems and rooting area, and limit the risk of potential whole tree/ stem failure, with third party buildings, communal area and car park all within striking distance of both trees. All tree works to BS3998 (2010)
